Who are
Back 2 Business?

Back 2 Business is a locally owned team of passionate bookkeepers , providing professional and reliable bookkeeping services to the Queenstown-Lakes District and surrounding areas.
We support our clients who work across a range of industries based in Queenstown, Arrowtown, Glenorchy, Athol, Alexandra and Wanaka… and everywhere in between!
Not long after moving to Queenstown in 2002, Toni identified a real and urgent need for quality accounts processing and bookkeeping services within the greater Queenstown region. In 2003, Toni opened a bookkeeping business named Booked Out Ltd, initially assisting mainly within the trades sector. The business changed its name in 2007 to Back 2 Business Ltd; and as a result of steady growth, less demand to be ‘mobile’, and additional staff members, the office relocated to Bush Creek Road in 2014.
Over the years we have worked across a wide range of fields including the trades, creative design and advertising, real estate, film and broadcasting, property management and development, retail, hospitality, and tourism. We provide advice and guidance on software; have completed numerous software system installations and setups, and ongoing technical support; and delivered training specific to the needs of each client.
Bookkeeping is our core business. Bookkeeping is our passion. We provide all aspects of accounts management – accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and PAYE, reconciliations, GST.
A builder once asked us “Why would I get you to do my accounts?” Our reply was “Would you ask me to build your home?” It’s simple. Get qualified, experienced people to do the stuff you don’t enjoy, and aren’t good at. We wouldn’t attempt to build a house because we aren’t builders.  We stick to what we’re great at, and believe you should too!

Meet our team



Establishing B2B in March 2007, Toni has a background in banking, HR and employment law, and accounting. Toni knows a fair bit about everything bookkeeping, and is a whizz at accounting software. 

In her spare time she can be found in her garden, or out and about exploring with her camera. 

Toni holds a Diploma in Business Law, and is certified in Xero, Xero Payroll, WorkflowMax, and Reckon Accounts and is a member of ICNZB (Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers).


Bookkeeper / Problem Solver

Our rock, (and it’s Kristy, not Kirsty!), has been keeping us in line since October 2013. 

Possessing great problem solving abilities, Kristy has a wide range of experience and knowledge in bookkeeping across most industries, and is one of our Tradie experts.

Outside work, Kristy enjoys singing and music, walking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Holding a Diploma in Accounting, Kristy is also certified in Xero, Xero Payroll, and WorkflowMax.


Bookkeeper / Fixer Upper

Loving the nuts and bolts, Megan thrives on knowing how everything ticks and is our go-to for suggesting better ways of doing things.  She is our systems guru, and fixer of broken stuff. 

Outside the office she can be found at the pony paddock with her daughter, and is the one wearing flash gumboots dealing with the poo! Joining the team in May 2015, Megan has a background in banking, is one of our Tradie experts, and is Xero and Xero Payroll certified. 



Joining our team in late 2021, Vicki-Leigh is the baby of our team, joining us after completing her NZ Diploma in Business Accounting with an A Grade.  

Being recognised as the Top Accounting Student in her year, she is bubbly natured, loves singing, music, and cats; possesses an infectious laugh, has top notch analytical and accounting skills… she is also our resident spreadsheeting super-whizz!  

Vicki-Leigh is Xero and Xero Payroll certified.  Outside work Vicki-Leigh can be found singing in a band somewhere in the South Island.


Support / Admin

Our Head of Support, Lois, ensures our team has everything we need. 

Joining us in March 2014, Lois keeps the office squeaky clean, collects stuff, delivers stuff, runs errands, and makes sure nothing ever runs out, like photocopy and loo paper.
